Overview

The Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certificate is designed for anyone working in a food environment such as a café, restaurant, take-away or school. It gives confidence to customers and demonstrate the compliance of your organisation.

A basic understanding of first aid will help learners know what to do if they are first on the scene of an accident, including how to assess the situation as a potential danger zone and how to assess the condition of a casualty following AVPU (Alert, Voice, Pain and Unresponsive) principles.

Employers are legally required by Fire Safety Regulations (The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005) to provide information, instruction and training to employees about fire precautions in the workplace.
