First Aid Treatment – Jimmy Cricket style

I’m reading Roy Hudd’s Book of Music-Hall,Variety and Showbiz Anecdotes, which is a Who’s Who of Variety Acts (Roy, himself being no stranger to the stage and knew Pontius before he was a Pilot).

Anyway, this story stood out and I thought I’d share.

I’d like to hope that First Aiders’ skills have come on since this incident – probably in the 1960s or 1970s.

If I find anything else similarly themed, I’ll add to this Post. The Book is organised by the stars’ surnames. I’m up to ‘G’ at the moment.
