Miss England helps woman who collapsed at Walsall football match

Bhasha Mukherjee was helped by the St John Ambulance and paediatrician Prof Rashid Gatrad

The reigning Miss England helped resuscitate a woman who collapsed at a charity football match.

Bhasha Mukherjee, who recently qualified as a junior doctor, was attending the game in Walsall earlier this week when the woman fell ill.

She said she gave the woman oxygen, monitored her pulse and cared for her until paramedics arrived to take her to hospital.
